Vocal and Singing Lessons

For singing lessons in Preston and Penwortham, look no further than BMA Music. Our Singing/Vocal tutors include Gareth Harding (Rockschool Examiner), Mariana Blackstone, Jack McCann and Rachel Heap. BMA Music’s tutors work between our Preston North and South Academies in Broughton and Penwortham.

Many of our students are here to complement GCSE or A-level courses (remember Rockschool (RSL Awards) and ABRSM exam grades 6-8 are worth UCAS points for university).  BMA Music singing tutors specialise in  rock, pop classical and musicals, with singing lessons designed for all ages; from 6+. We also get our pupils together to sing together in harmony groups which is a great way to meet new people and to learn to sing as a choir.

All our singing tutors work towards the Rockschool syllabus with Gareth also available for work with classical singers up to Diploma standard.

Over the years  BMA’s singing students have managed to get one of their singing groups through to the Top 24 groups (out of over 1000) in 2012 and the top 15 groups in 2013 and 14 of the BBC show ‘Comic Relief Does Glee’. The Judges gave glowing reports of the girls vocal abilities.

Within your singing lessons you will also get the opportunity to work towards performing at local festivals and shows at the playhouse and others.We are confident our vocal tutors provide the very best tuition not only in Preston but in the whole of Lancashire. We also encourage singing with other pupils in our harmony groups too.

Pupils having Singing tuition also have the opportunity to record in our recording studio.

Our Singing lessons take place on a Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at our Broughton Academy.  Our Penwortham lessons are available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
